Our Journey to Mother Clucking Farm
Our goat’s milk skincare journey began with a desperate search to help our daughter’s severe eczema. After exhausting every option within the medical system, Karen turned to researching natural remedies and discovered the incredible healing properties of raw goat’s milk. However, due to licensing restrictions, we couldn’t purchase raw milk—an essential ingredient because of its powerful pre- and probiotics. Determined to find a solution, we took matters into our own hands and bought our first goats. From that moment, our journey truly began. After crafting our first bar of soap and witnessing the dramatic improvement in our daughter’s skin, we knew we had found something special—and Mother Clucking Farm was born.

I blend my expertise in hairdressing and beauty therapy with a passion for natural skincare. With a deep understanding of skin and hair anatomy, I’ve perfected our goat’s milk products to help soothe sensitive skin, inspired by my daughter’s eczema. From milking our goats to handcrafting soaps and running our online store, I’m involved in every step—alongside my husband Jay—to create skincare that’s gentle, effective, and eco-friendly.
Little Clucker
Our daughter is the devoted caretaker of all the animals at Mother Clucking Farm. She ensures their spaces are always clean and takes great pride in keeping them happy and healthy. Her gentle nature and keen interest in their well-being make her a natural with the animals—especially the goats, who adore her playful spirit. Whether she’s tending to their needs or laughing as they chase and leap around her, her bond with them is truly special and a joy to witness.
Jay – Father Clucker
Farmer/Carpenter
A qualified carpenter by trade, he’s the go-to guy for building and maintaining everything on the farm. Whether he’s crafting structures, making hay to keep our goats happy, or handling essential maintenance, Jay ensures that everything operates like clockwork. His hard work and dedication behind the scenes allow us to create high-quality goat’s milk skincare products with love and care.
Uni Clucker
Although she’s away at university, our eldest daughter remains deeply connected to Mother Clucking Farm, calling every day to catch up on the latest animal antics. Her passion for animals, especially horses, runs deep—at just 14, she rescued Belle, a sweet Welsh pony who now enjoys her retirement here on the farm. Even from afar, her love and dedication to our animals continue to be a cherished part of our family’s journey.
