Ahhhhh Ash, our very first baby on the farm, the very first birth I witnessed and the very first that I had to assist. I had read so much about goat birthing, watched many videos but I still felt very out of my depth BUT when Foxy was struggling a little I assisted without hesitation, grabbed Ash's front hooves and pulled him out, Foxy and I havent made eye contact since 🤣. Here they will be free to graze and enjoy FREEDOM! its a little difficult in the spring and summer months with allowing them to be 'free' due to Belle being 27 and having cushings and Rolo/Dickhead who had a bout of laminitis after having steroids to help him get over a weird virus years ago, there is always the fear it can return so feed management is so important! But, this time year is wonderful for them!
