Our Ethos
Here at Mother Clucking Farm, everything we do is guided by a deep respect for nature, our animals, and the simple joy of creating something by hand. Our small family-run farm is home to our much-loved herd of goats, who are at the heart of our story and our soaps. We believe in keeping things honest and sustainable—using what we have around us, working with reclaimed materials, and embracing a slower, more mindful way of living. Every bar we make is a reflection of that ethos: carefully crafted from raw ingredients, made in small batches, and handled with care every step of the way. From our family to yours, our aim is to create products that are as kind to your skin as they are to the land they come from.
Our goats
Our soaps are made using milk from our beautiful herd of dwarf dairy goats, a breed we chose with care for both their quality of milk and their gentle nature. These smaller goats produce rich, creamy milk with a naturally high butterfat content, making it especially nourishing and kind to the skin. They are perfectly suited to our small farm environment, allowing us to give each goat the attention and care they deserve, which we believe is reflected in the quality of our products. As far as we are aware, we are the only skincare company in the UK using milk from dwarf dairy goats in this way—something that makes our soaps feel even more special and true to our farm.
