What started as a quest to help our daughter’s eczema has blossomed into a thriving goat’s milk skincare business that’s capturing hearts (and skin) everywhere. But this journey didn’t happen overnight. It’s been years of hard work, learning, and love poured into every bottle, bar, and jar.

A Mother’s Mission

Our story began when we struggled to find a solution for our daughter’s severe eczema. Conventional treatments weren’t helping, and we were determined to find a natural, gentle alternative that would soothe her skin. This search led us down a path of research into the incredible healing properties of goat’s milk. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and natural fats, goat’s milk is a powerhouse ingredient that nourishes and hydrates the skin—exactly what our daughter’s delicate skin needed.

But finding the perfect formula wasn’t easy. It took us two years of trial and error to perfect our products. We experimented, learned, and refined until we created something that not only helped our daughter but could help others struggling with sensitive skin, dryness, and irritation.

From Dream to Reality

Once we had the perfect formula, we knew we couldn’t keep this discovery to ourselves. We wanted to share the benefits of goat’s milk skincare with others, and that’s how Mother Clucking Farm was born. But starting a business from scratch while juggling full-time jobs wasn’t easy.

Jay, my husband, works as a carpenter, and I’m a hairdresser. We both spend a minimum of 8 hours a day at our jobs before dedicating another 4-5 hours each day to the farm. Our days are long, and we work 7 days a week, 365 days a year to make our dream a reality. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.

A Family Effort

One of the most special things about Mother Clucking Farm is that it’s truly a family-run business. From extracting the goat’s milk to preparing it for our skincare products, we handle every step of the process ourselves. We make the products by hand, box them with care, and even design and create the labels.

Our new dairy, built with reclaimed materials (thanks to Jay’s carpentry skills), is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and reducing waste. Every decision we make is guided by love—for our family, our farm, and our customers.

Building a Brand from the Ground Up

To keep costs low, I taught myself how to build and manage our website and handle the e-commerce side of things. It’s been a steep learning curve, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding to see our online presence grow. I’ve also taken to Instagram to connect with our amazing customers and share behind-the-scenes moments of life on the farm.

We’ve poured not just our time and energy but also our hearts into this business. Every sale, every review, and every kind message we receive reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.
